This policy applies to hex.plyyard.com. You can play without creating an account, so most game information stays in your browser or is shared only with the other player in your room.
Information we do not require
We do not require your name, email address, phone number, password, identity documents, or payment details to play.
Information stored on your device
Local games, board-size choices, display preferences, and room reconnection details may be stored in browser storage. Clearing site data or removing the installed web app generally removes them.
Shared rooms
Moves, colour swaps, resignations, and draw requests are relayed so both players see the same game. Open rooms appear in the lobby with waiting or in-play status, without listing the room code. Keep private-room links private.
Network resources
AI search runs in a browser Worker and does not download a neural-net file. Online rooms use a WebSocket to this site's room service. The board does not rely on third-party font or image CDNs.
Cookies, advertising, and analytics
Ordinary play uses no login cookie. The site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-8EWY47HNXY) to understand aggregate traffic such as page views, approximate region, device type, browser, and referral source. The same measurement ID is used on the Ply Yard studio site and other Ply Yard game hosts, so Google may treat visits from the same browser across those hostnames as related. Analytics is not used to replay games and is not tied to a player account; advertising storage is denied by default. Cloudflare also injects a Web Analytics script to measure page-load performance at the edge. Google's privacy policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy. Blocking analytics does not prevent you from playing.
Contact and updates
Email sent to contact@plyyard.com is used to investigate and reply to your request, not to create a marketing list. We may update this policy when storage, room synchronisation, or site features change.
